If you had any children they would not be entitled to anything from your estate.
When drafting your Will you should appoint an Executor or Executors who will be responsible for carrying out your wishes. They will be responsible for dealing with all the paper work, arranging and paying for your funeral, taxes and other administration costs out of the money left from your estate and of course pay out or transfer the property, gifts or money to the beneficiaries of your choice. You can choose to appoint any relatives or friends or Solicitors or Accountants. It is advisable to appoint more than one executor.
Once your will has been made you must keep it in a safe place.

Once a will has been made, it should be kept in a safe place and other documents should not be attached to it. There are a number of places where you can keep a will:-
- at home
- with a solicitor or accountant
- at a bank
- at the Principal Registry of the Family Division of the High Court, a District Registry or Probate Sub-Registry for safe keeping.
If you wish to deposit a will in this way you should visit the District Registry or Probate Sub-Registry.
